چکیده
We give a ncw method for direct reconstruction of threc-dimcnsional objects from a fcw electron micrographs taken at angles which nced not exceed a range of 60 degrees. Thc method works for totally asymmctric objects, and rcquircs littlc computer timc or storage. It is also applicable to X-ray photography. and may greatly reduce the exposurc compared to current methods of body-scction radiography.

Reconstruction with Parallel Projections using ART
Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (ART) is most accurate method for image reconstruction. In present paper the accuracy of ART is shown with parallel projections, in all only 16 projections with about 60 iterations are used to obtain reconstruction. Reference R. متن کاملSynthesis of Supported Pt Alloy three Dimensional Rhombus Shapes Nanoparticles for Oxygen Reduction Reaction
In this study PtFeCo ternary alloys nanoparticles of three dimentional (3D) rhombus shapes dispersed on graphene nanosheets (PtFeCo/Gr) were successfully prepared and studied as electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) in polymer-electrolyte fuel cells. A combination of analytical techniques including powder X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectra, inductively coupled plasma-...
متن کاملRecent developments in cryo-electron microscopy reconstruction of single particles.
Cryo-electron microscopy and single-particle 3D image reconstruction techniques have been used to examine a broad spectrum of samples ranging from 500 kDa protein complexes to large subcellular organelles. The attainable resolution has improved rapidly over the past few years. Structures of both symmetric and asymmetric assemblies at approximately 7.5 A have been reported. Together with X-ray c...
متن کاملCalibration of High-Resolution X-Ray Tomography With Atomic Force Microscopy
For two-dimensional x-ray imaging of thin films, the technique of scanning transmission x-ray microscopy (STXM) has achieved images with feature sizes as small as 40 nm in recent years. However, calibration of three-dimensional tomographic images that are produced with STXM data at this scale has not yet been described in the scientific literature, and the calibration procedure has novel proble...
متن کاملExploiting desktop supercomputing for three-dimensional electron microscopy reconstructions using ART with blobs.
Three-dimensional electron microscopy allows direct visualization of biological macromolecules close to their native state. The high impact of this technique in the structural biology field is highly correlated with the development of new image processing algorithms. In order to achieve subnanometer resolution, the size and number of images involved in a three-dimensional reconstruction increas...
